Thank you for your interest in the MindBodyWarrior Yoga Teacher Training with Mark Laham and Louise Sattler and Todd Lavctoire. Your interest in this program is sparked by your desire to evolve and reach your True Potential while helping others to do the same… we are excited to be a part of this journey. Our next program will begin in March of 2010.
The MindBodyWarrior Yoga Teacher Training is unique and profound in many ways. It is our intention as the facilitators of this training to offer you an opportunity to; be in your best physical/mental/spiritual condition ever, define your idea of success and obtain it, cultivate outstanding confidence and leadership skills, and learn how to teach a kick-ass yoga class!
We would like to make this program accessible and enjoyable for anyone who is willing to put in the effort to positively transform their lives and the lives of those they come in contact with. The training will take place in 3 modules; the first is for those who want to learn the practice for themselves, the second is for those who want to take what they’ve learned and teach it to others, and the third is for those who would like to deepen their knowledge of either the Yin and/or Power styles of Yoga.
Developing Your Yoga Practice – 80 hrs: Until you have fully learned and practiced yoga for yourself, you cannot fully teach it to others. In this first course you will learn the practice of Yoga and how it harmonizes the mind, body and spirit. You will gain a solid understanding and experience of how Yoga empowers you and all aspects of your life. You will improve your physical posture practice and learn the following;

Developing Your Teaching Practice – 90 hrs: Turn that spark of desire in to a flame of passion as you uncover the skills that make you an exceptional yoga instructor. Whether you have just completed The Yoga Practice segment or you have been teaching for a while, this program will take your teaching to a new level. This program will give you the confidence, knowledge and enthusiasm to success as a yoga teacher. Included in this section are:

Let Go and Relax with Yin yoga – Yin Yoga Teacher Training:
Yoga as practiced in North America is almost exclusively Yang or muscular in nature. The Yin aspect of Yoga uses long-held relaxed floor postures to stretch and stimulate the "Yin" or deep connective tissues of the body. The two major differences between a Yin and a Yang Yoga practice are that Yin postures are done with the muscles relaxed and are held for longer times emphasizing the connective tissue layer. This gentle practice increases your flexibility, opens your hips, quads, hamstrings, lower back and shoulders and enhances your overall sense of well-being. It is truly a practice in letting go of both the mental and the physical tensions that we store inside. It teaches how to accept what is happening in our bodies and in our lives, while remaining unattached to these experiences. This 30 - hour program includes:- An in-depth exploration of all the Yin Yoga postures

The practice of Yin Yoga is experiencing a dramatic increase in popularity. Both teachers and students alike are expressing a desire for more depth and knowledge about this contemplative, restorative and energizing style of yoga.Yoga as practiced in North America is almost exclusively Yang or muscular in nature. The Yin aspect of Yoga uses long-held relaxed floor postures to stretch and stimulate the "Yin" or deep connective tissues of the body.
